This page explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us.

1. Controller

Budaflatz is a business division of AS Venture Partners Kft. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as this is not required by law.

2. Visiting the website

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you open a page, the server stores technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are deleted automatically after a short time.

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising services. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server.

3. Contact by email, phone, WhatsApp or form

When you contact us, we process the details you give us (for example your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f)). The contact form does not store anything on our server; it opens your own email program. We receive emails via Hostinger.

WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to the USA; this is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Using WhatsApp is voluntary; you can also reach us by email or phone.

4. Flat search and letting

To arrange a tenancy, we process your contact details and the information about the flat you are looking for or offering. For prospective tenants, we also process the usual documents (ID, proof of studies or income). We only share data with the other side (landlord or prospective tenant) where this is necessary for the letting and you have agreed (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).

5. Recipients and retention

Recipients are our hosting and email provider Hostinger as a processor, the respective contracting parties in a letting, lawyers, notaries or authorities where needed, and our accountant for invoicing. Data is only transferred outside the EU via WhatsApp (see above).

We keep data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Under the Hungarian Accounting Act, invoices are kept for eight years.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. A short message to partners@as-vp.com is enough.

Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot handle your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making.

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live. The authority responsible for us is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest, Hungary, naih.hu.
